NAVY SEALS KILL
OSAMA BIN LADEN IN DARING RAID

REWARD OUR TROOPS FOR A JOB WELL DONE

Our Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq need your help. Despite their amazing achievement of finding and killing Osama Bin Laden, their work is not yet done. They are still fighting the Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and still face danger in Iraq. But YOU CAN make a difference to our troops by sponsoring a care package today, from MOVE AMERICA FORWARD.

Show your gratitude for everything the troops do for us and reward them for the good work they've done in finally nailing Osama, and keeping us safe.

On May 1st, 2011, the news we had all been waiting for broke, Osama bin Laden had not only been found, but he met a death that was long overdue and much deserved. Early that morning a small team of U.S. Navy SEALS raided a compound where bin Laden was hiding, and after a brutal firefight, killed the Al Qaeda leader and four of his top confidants.

Americans all over the country and world took to the streets celebrating the determination and fortitude of the U.S. Military. This success was hard earned and cost the lives of many American warriors. However, the achievement united our great nation and the excitement was palpable.

Thank the troops for their commitment and sacrifice in protecting our borders and bringing this monster to justice. By sending a care package to troops who are still fighting on the front lines in Afghanistan and Iraq, you can thank them for never letting up and continuing to fight for the freedoms we all enjoy daily. SEND A CARE PACKAGE NOW!

These care packages give a great boost in morale. They show the troops that we support them as well as provide some much appreciated goodies like coffee, cookies, beef jerky, Gatorade and much more.

THE SEAL TEAM THAT KILLED OSAMA

On September 11, 2001, Osama bin Laden orchestrated an attack on American civilians at a magnitude never before reached. It was on this day that the sleeping giant was awoken and the U.S. Military embarked on a mission to eliminate all terror threats to America. Since 9/11, our borders had not been breached, but the man responsible for killing 3,000 innocent men, women, and children, was able to slither around our grasp.

After a year of meticulous intelligence gathering, the CIA had identified a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, suspected of housing the terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.

The SEALs flew in several helicopters into Pakistani airspace and unloaded 20-25 members of the elite, Navy SEAL Team 6 into the compound. The team executed orders perfectly, killing other Al Qaeda leaders, before eliminating the main target, Osama bin Laden.

The mission was labeled above top-secret and the SEAL team that was selected indicates just how difficult the mission was, but like always, our troops did not disappoint. For nearly ten years, our American heroes have brought a battle to the doorstep of a faceless enemy and they have done so with determination and unyielding persistence.

We owe so much to these troops and it will be hard to ever fully show our appreciation for their constant sacrifice.

Take this opportunity to say “Thank You” to the troops and let them know that as they continue to press the enemy, we stand strongly behind them with admiration and gratitude. Send a care package and celebrate this victory with an American hero.

This week was especially moving for MAF’s own Debbie Lee whose son graduated from Navy SEAL training shortly before 9/11, and after watching the attack on the World Trade Centers, was determined to help bring those responsible to justice. Debbie’s son, Marc, sadly died in battle pursuing that goal, but after hearing the news of Osama’s death, Debbie said "Marc is watching with satisfaction from Heaven today."

Marc was killed in Ramadi, Iraq, on August 2, 2006. He was on patrol with his fellow SEALs when Marc’s buddy Ryan was hit by a sniper from a rooftop across from the house they were on. The bullets from the sniper hit Ryan’s gun and the shrapnel tore into Ryan’s head.

Marc stood up, exposing himself to the line of enemy fire, and laid down a stream of gunfire to suppress the enemy so that the medic could get up to the roof and evacuate Ryan. Again Marc stood up again in the line of fire and laid down suppressive fire to cover his buddies so they could carry Ryan safely back to base.

He saved Ryan’s life that day.

When they got back to base, his commander came in and said they had found the house where the insurgents who had just attacked them were hiding. Marc looked at his commander and said “Roger that, let’s go get them!” he and his fellow SEALS volunteered to go back into battle. On that mission, as the team was making their way up some stairs, they took sniper fire through a window and once again Marc put himself in the line of fire to save his buddies. He sacrificed himself to protect his team and to serve his only mission: Defend America from threats abroad.

MOVE AMERICA FORWARD BY SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS

Move America Forward is the nation's largest grassroots, pro-troop organization. We've been supporting our troops and their missions since 2004, and when you send a care package through MAF, you can be sure the troops will appreciate it. You can even write your own message of gratitue and it's included with the care package. Also MAF is a registerded 501(c)(3) so your donation is tax-deductible.

The death of Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda and figure for radical Islamists, came at the hand of the U.S. Navy SEALS. It is no wonder why America is called on by every nation to resolve armed conflict – we truly have the best military in the world, made possible by the bravest men and women in the world.

Debbie said, “Where would we be without our troops? They have proven that they have the dedication and patience to complete any mission, to deal with any threat, and we want to thank our troops for that. At Move America Forward we will be continuing our mission of supporting our troops, as they are still deployed in Iraq and Afganistan, and until all of our troops come home, we will continue sending our support and our care packages.”

We’ve been sending support to our brave troops for years now, and we will continue doing so until their mission is complete. Osama bin Laden may be dead, but Al Qaeda is not.

Our troops understand their mission and will not stop until all threats are eliminated. But they need our helps and support so that they'll have the strength to endure the long deployments, until the job is done. Let them know that they have our support. SEND a CARE PACK TODAY!
