MAF Presents: The Daily Blog

Here at the Move America Forward Daily Blog we chronicle the good news on the War on Terrorism you might not have heard about on the evening news. We also shine the spotlight on those whose conduct against our country and our military is unbecoming.

Welcome to Cat’s World: We don’t Need No Stinking Badges

I am on the eve of a trip to France where I will meet with Iranian expatriates. The knee-jerk reaction for many liberals when they hear “Iran” or “Iraq” is to whip out the white flag of surrender, blame it on Dick Cheney or Ronald Reagan, or pacify themselves by watching a rerun of Al Gore’s fraudumentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”

Well, if you’re an America-hating, Jew-bashing type, you might want to take your meds before you read on. You are certainly welcome along for the ride, but be warned: I don’t take kindly to whiners, liars or America haters.

A few ground rules: no cussing, no threatening, no rabid radicals from the crazy farm. I know all the conspiracy theories about 9/11 because Rosie O’Donnell’s bullhorn of a mouth announced them to the world – even though most of the world didn’t listen. She loves them like her children. Uh, wait a minute. Maybe she loves them more than her kids . . . Did you see that video of her daughter dressed like a cross between a cowboy in a “Treasure of Sierra Madre” and the average suicide bomber? My friend Andrew Breitbart posted it at his highly recommended site, Breitbart TV - CLICK HERE.

Why Iran is Important

Here is why Iran is important and why I am flying to Paris even though I sometimes have panic attacks on airplanes:

The Middle East has been a mixed-up mess for a long time. Theocratic Iran is not the United States’ friend (and that doesn’t hurt my feelings one bit.) Right now we know from credible sources and evidence that Iran is helping the terrorists in Iraq kill our troops and undermine the fledgling democracy there.

Now the white-flag color guard led by Nancy Pelosi, ex-Marine Jack Murtha and Sen. Chuck Hagel, a RINO with a nose longer than Pinocchio’s, will tell us just to leave the whole place. Cut, run and hide. We don’t want to hurt their feelings anymore; and we definitely don’t want to shoot at them. Let’s just use our library voices and speak kindly with them: “Now put down your daggers and stop playing with explosives . . . .”

“Very Worried for Israel”

Iran is a nuclear powder keg aimed at the west. Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton warned Tuesday that it might be too late to stop Iran’s maniacal march to attempted-world supremacy without military force.

“Sanctions and diplomacy have failed and it may be too late for internal opposition to oust the Islamist regime, leaving only military intervention to stop Iran’s drive to nuclear weapons,” Bolton told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.

Bolton is not crying wolf. He stood nose-to-nose with the bad guys at the U.N., so he knows their playbook. Bolton said that we may not have enough time for insurgents (the guys and gals I’m meeting with in France) to overthrow the government, and sanctions don’t work well. Just look at Cuba where Communist-coddling Michael Moore recently filmed part of a propaganda film that (surprise!) undermines the United States.

Important safety tip: Even if you don’t like Israel or our Jewish friends, you should understand that they are literally standing between us and 7th century fanatics who want to cut our throats as sure as they decapitated the peaceful journalist Daniel Pearl.

When Bolton worries about Israel, we should worry about the U.S.

A word from our troops on the MSM . . .

My “daughter” is now Army Capt. Grace Harris, a physician whose deployment plans include manning a surgical unit in the Middle East in the war against radical Jihadists. (I’ll write more about Grace in the future and how I adopted her when she was a teen). Thursday morning she sent me a note from an Army buddy about a picture that has traveled the Web showing a soldier with a baby asleep on his chest.

“This was forwarded to me by my “battle buddy” from the Officer’s Basics Course I just took,” Grace wrote.

“Yup…it sickens me that the media refuses to print and show the many wonderful humanitarian things we do each day, The guy that is sitting in the chair with the baby on him is a really nice guy. I know him personally. The baby in his arms was sick in the hospital and would not sleep unless he held her. Each night he would get off duty and go over there and hold her in his arms until she fell asleep…but yeah we in the military are evil doers huh…that’s why everyone who has turned against the military can just kiss my you know what - I have no time for them!”

I haven’t met her battle buddy, but I’m glad she’s Grace’s wingman.

Cheese with that whine?

I will not likely have much wine in France. My mission is to get information that will help America and her troops in its fight against radical Muslim Jihadists. I will blog here as I get information - and when it is safe. I cannot release some details of my trip because of security concerns. But I’ll be glad to open up once I’m back in the good old U.S. of A.

And now, this. . .

“Ready for War”

My quote for this blog comes from none other than the late President George Washington. I love this guy not only because he was our first president, but because he was a general with keen vision and a backbone stiffer than Gore’s neck. He did not cry like a bed-wetting weasel when times got tough for him and his men. Even as their feet froze, not once did Washington’s men cry, “global cooling!”

So when you start feeling your spine go wobbly on you, or you have an urge to put down Old Glory and hoist the white flag, study this quote from President Washington:

“If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known, that we are at all times ready for War.”

Help me help the troops

My aim is to help our troops in every way possible. Please send me stories about what our men and women are doing to make the United States safer. If you are holding pro-troop rallies, selling a book, starting a group that caters to our troops, or can offer ideas for us at Move America Forward to help our men and women, please write to me. (I’m also very nosy and love hot news tips, so send those my way, too).

Reach me at catmoy@moveamericaforward.org.

God Bless Our Troops.
